Scope

Voor het installeren van monopiles hebben exploitanten een tool nodig die kracht en efficiëntie combineert met gebruiksgemak. De tool moet robuust genoeg zijn om de aanzienlijke belasting aan te kunnen en toch licht genoeg om binnen de kraancapaciteit van het schip te passen. Voor projecten waarbij de diameter van de monopile kan variëren van 7,5 tot 8 meter, is een nauwkeurig en betrouwbaar Monopile Lifting Tool essentieel.

Challenge

Traditional monopile handling tools may lack the combination of strength, precision, and flexibility required for large-scale offshore installations. Van Oord needed a tool that can:

Solution

We hebben de Y-1600 ontwikkeld, een ultramoderne monopile lifting tool dat speciaal is ontworpen om te voldoen aan de eisen van grootschalige monopile-installaties. De Y-1600 is gebouwd om een safe workload (SWL) tot 1600 ton te hanteren en is zowel licht als robuust. Ideaal om uitdagende loads te hanteren. De tool kan naadloos worden geïntegreerd met andere tools en onderdelen op het dek.
