MOONPOOL EQUIPMENT

During subsea operations, moonpools are used on many types of vessels: Offshore support vessels, cable-lay vessels, production barges, etc. The opening in the floor or base of the hull is used to deploy and retrieve a variety of tools. To handle various equipment, it’s crucial to have dedicated equipment to safely guide the equipment through the moonpool.

KENC has completed a range of projects which involved the development of moonpool related tools, such as equipment to guide diving bells, moonpool handling systems, lashing manipulators, etc.
