AUTOMATIC BOAT LANDING SYSTEMS
A crew change at the open sea can be a risky process. In this case, a boat landing system is a preferred system to safely transfer crew from CTV to a large vessel. The industry sees an increasing demand from operators and energy companies for using boat landing systems during a crew transfer.
OUR SOLUTION
The main advantage of KENC’s ABLS is that there is no crane handling needed to deploy and retrieve the boat landing system. This results in more uptime and less risk. The ABLS is a robust and compact design that comes fully automated with an easy-to-operate control system and is equipped with hydraulic drives. The H-Type is a proven system with low storage height and suited for larger vessels, where the V-Type has an incredibly small footprint with simple and straight forward vessel interfaces. The base configuration of both ABLS systems is certified and compatible with all common CTV’s. The ABLS can be upgraded with features such as a luggage lifting system, floodlights, and integration with board systems, etc.
FEATURES
WHAT OUR
CLIENTS SAY
“The basic design of the boat landing is very satisfactory. The biggest advantage is that we do not need the ship’s crane to put the boat landing in position. This results in more uptime and less risk. Lowering can already be done during operation, only a heading change is needed to give the best lee. Only during the crew transfer itself operations will be ceased. Total down time is about 20 to 30 minutes.”
